About

Our Story

Nossa was born from a dream that began far from here. In 2014, I left Uruguay and moved to Búzios, in Rio de Janeiro, where I lived for four years. In 2017, life brought me to Praia da Pipa — and this is where I truly began turning my love for baking into a business. It all started simply: making artisan alfajores and selling them on the beach. Little by little, I took my sweets to other places, won over customers and built, step by step, what would one day become Nossa. Then came the pandemic. It was a time of great uncertainty, but also of transformation. I moved house and started making and selling cakes, sweets and desserts, and serving coffee too. What began inside a home kept growing in shape, identity and space. Today, Nossa is a café and bakery in Pipa, built with hard work, affection and the wish to do things differently. Our inspiration comes from my Uruguayan roots and from Río de la Plata baking. That's why dulce de leche is in so many of our products — it's part of who we are. And there's a choice at the heart of Nossa: we don't use condensed milk. Our sweets are handmade, honoring ingredients, techniques and flavors that make sense for our story. Nossa was born from a dream, grew up with Pipa, and is still made every day by people who put honesty, care and flavor into everything they do. Nossa — flavors that carry a story.
